• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,

We recently upgraded to version 8.2 (I don't know from which version since I didn't do it). After upgrading, when we launch the Plesk Control panel or "Plesk 8.2 for Windows" we get the following message in our browser:

Fatal error: File is damaged, please reinstall in Unknown on line 0

What does it mean and how does one fix it? Also while troubleshooting this I looked at many PHP files and all I could see were the lines:

<?php
die("The file auth.php3 is part of Plesk distribution. It cannot be run outside of Plesk environment.\n");
__plesk_loader_pragma__('B');
?>

And below that was a lot of garbage text. Was this encrypted or something? Is this related in any way to the Fatal error above? Any help is appreciated.

Barbid.

Please try to clean folder %plesk_dir%PrivateTemp.
