• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

I found a comment under
Let's Encrypt - Plesk Extensions
with the same issue another user had tree days ago. Yet another user recommended to go into the extension and upgrade it manually. I did that and it seems that it worked. At least the extension was upgraded and I was able to test-create a certificate on a test domain afterwards.

So there were at least two other users reporting the issue plus me. It would be nice to know why this is happening and how it can be prevented on future upgrades of the extension.

I had it several times (multiple times on different servers).
Never reported it because a removal of the extension and a subsequent component install went swiftly.
This is probably the same for many others.
