  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Field length for FTP Working Directory

While attempting to edit one of my site's properties (in the SiteBuilder admin screen) I found the FTP Working Directory text box is limited to 60 characters even though the field box itself is much longer and the database field that is populated is a 255 character field. I have some site directories that are close to (if not over 100 characters).

Does anybody know how to fix this limitation as re-working my web configurations to limit them to 60 characters is not an option.

Thank you for any help anyone can offer.

Customer Service??

Does anybody from SWsoft ever review these postings (and even better, reply)?

This isn't the first time I've posted an issue here and plenty of views but not a single reply (even from SWsoft themselves).

It is very frustrating to pay for a piece of software that may need to be customized based on your production environment but every single file is encrypted. Does every single file in this product really need to be encrypted, is it that much of a trade secret that even the simplest of customizations are made impossible and in order to get the simplest answer you must go through hoops, for a paid (not trial) product?

I really wish this company paid as much attention to their customers and forums as they do to protecting their own product from their paying customers.
