  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

FTP Repository - lack of information

The backup manager in Plesk 12.5 does not display which backup belongs to which domain. It just shows creation date and size.

How am I supposed to know which backup is which?

It is related to complication of the structure due to the introduction of incremental backups, simplify backup representation in UI (after increments appeared, file names do not become human readable).
So we went to a small degradation, which may be solved elementary by user - putting backups in its own subdirectories.
Also when you start restore procedure - you will only see backup files that relate to your restore object.

So now when I gat a backup error message like this. I now no long know which domain has the problem. This new naming convention is terrible. Checking the logs and there is no domain info there.

The following error occurred during the scheduled backup process:

Unable to upload dump to FTP, it remains in server repository and you can manually download and upload it to FTP. Upload diagnostic message: Repository error: Unable to save data to an archive. Check whether the target directory is accessible for writing. For more information, see the log file (/usr/local/psa/PMM/sessions/2016-02-05-034604.431/migration.log)
