Question How is Spamcop DNSBL doing these days?

Spamhaus seems to have added more IPs to their "Open Resolver" list. We had to remove them from our systems for that. We're using proprietary resolvers, yet they seem to dislike them (or the number of the requests they are doing).

Is bl.spamcop.net a valid alternative these days? We haven't been using them for a long while. Any good or bad experience with them?

The experience with spamcop is mixed. I use them only in addition to other blacklists like mailspike or spamhaus. Last year they had a problem with falsly blocking office365 servers (but this can happen to any blacklists). as a replacement for spamhaus it will not work. mailspike is more as an replacement for spamhaus.

I've used Spamcop a while on a couple of servers until recently. I stopped using it as a block list because there where to many false positives, including from office365 servers. Instead I've relegated it's use to SpamAssasin. Currently using Spamhaus, Spamrats and Surriel.

We have also had to remove Spamhaus from many servers for that reason, it has been working fine for years using unbound :(

Now we are using: (license).combined.mail.abusix.zone,b.barracudacentral.org,multi.surbl.org,bl.worst.nosolicitado.org

I can recommend it. We have been using b.barracudacentral.org and bl.spamcop.net for our clients for many years now without major problems.
