Resolved How to create a Single Domain Hosting service plan

In Cpanel we can set single domain name Hosting plan, but in plesk it was not working as we have set Domains in Service Plans it was not working as the user login he is able to see the Add Domain button an it was working too like if he add an new domain name it was adding and showing another hosting tab see the screenshot. It make us to move back to Cpanel because if this option was not there it will not help us to get more hosting. If any one know why this was like this or is there any other option which we can disable Add Domain in user Service plans.

Dear Plesk Development Team,

Please make an good tutorial for the Plesk Onyx version, because you will loose customers because we are searching for an answer to the
subjected questions. But finally we find the answer, as the answer was not good enough to continue with plesk because the feature to create
single domain name hosting plan is not much good. For those who want to create a single domain name hosting service plan please follow below
Go to Service Plans -> Resources -> Overuse policy -> Select Overuse is not allowed (Desc: Disallow overuse of resources. A subscription is automatically suspended if the resource usage exceeds the limit values.) But this will make issues like if the user allotted space and resource usage is full when the website was suspended the customer will be too much irritated. As he is used the allotted space or resource but suspending this service is not a good policy but we can send an notification email and also will not allow him to use more with out suspending the website. So please think about it as Cpanel is not doing this and they are allowing the user to stand on.. with out allow use more space or resource.

you might have missed to read the official Plesk documentations, when you started to use Plesk Onyx:

You would certainly remove the

=> Permissions​

Domains management

Allows the subscriber to add domains, create websites and set up web forwarding.

... priviliges, when you create a "Single domain" - service plan, which will certainly remove the permission to create an additional domain.


In addition, pls. note, that Plesk is not Cpanel - you might compare software features, but you should be aware, that each software is configured / coded in different ways, which makes it impossible to copy your Cpanel - usage - knowledge over to Plesk.
