Hi all,

Can anybody tell me how to setup Reseller accounts in PLESK.

I got a Win2003 STD Edition with PLESK. I can't find any option for setup Reseller Accounts ??

I need Reseller Accounts like Unlimited Domain hosting with a limited webspace.

Each end user have their own cp also.

Please give your valuable replies.

Hello Albertsp,

You need to create a Client in PLESK and then give them permissions to create domains etc. In PLESK, Client means also Reseller. To make it easy for you:

Log in in to your PLESK web Admin section>Then click on the icon saying "Client Templates">Add new client template>(this should be the Reseller Plan that you want to give a particular reseller / client for example: RS-1000).After your Plan was created click on the icon saying"Add new client account" this will be your resellers name etc..
I think this is the base info how to create a Client / reseller account.

Reseller Accounts

Thanks Henry....

Let me check it... for setup Reseller accounts....

I'm first time with PLESK.. previously I'm using HELM and it is really a HELL.

One more thing... Can I setup Unlimited No. of domains in PLESK 7 for Windows ?

Is there any limits in Domain setup ( in nos.)

Albert

Hello Albert,

Yes, you can specify in PLESK 7 for WINDOWS if the reseller should have Unlimited or just 1 domain created.
It has to be done when you create a NEW CLIENT/Reseller Template there you check a box for Unlimited or uncheck the box and specify how many domains you will allow your reseller.
There is only a LIMIT depending on your PLESK License what you buy from SW-SOFT.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards and welcome to PLESK Lovers.

How to configure cp.yourdomain.com ?

Hi All,

Thanks for your valuable replies.

I have one doubt. Previously in my HELM Server, I bought a dedicated IP for accessing my clients to their control panel through http://cp.domain.ext .

So in PLESK how I setup Control Panel Access like http://cp.yourdomain.com ? ... Fo that what should I do ? now I'm using port no to login to cp. It is not possible to remember the port address each time.

So I want to setup their control panels as http://cp.yourdomain.com

For that what should I do ?

Expecting your comments..

Albert
