  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved ImageMagick throws error (not allowed by the security policy)

Hi all,
we have some problems to convert pdf to image with the php module imagik.
In domain logs we get following error:
AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught ImagickException: attempt to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy `PDF' @ error/constitute.c/IsCoderAuthorized/408 in /var/www/vhosts/<domain>/httpdocs/karten/index.php:100\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/vhosts/<domain>/httpdocs/karten/index.php(100): Imagick->readimages()\n#1 {main}\n thrown in /var/www/vhosts/<domain>/httpdocs/karten/index.php on line 100', referer: <domain>/karten/index.php

In policy.xml try to change line:

<policy domain="coder" rights="all" pattern="PDF" />

to

<policy domain="coder" rights="read | write" pattern="PDF" />
 
Thanks for your reply but unfortunately no success :(
It is necesarry to start any services or whatever to apply the policy?
