Issue Import of a backup file fails because of xml error

LordReaper

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 24.01
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.65 #2
I was chosen to migrate an old plesk to a new one. So i made a backup of the old server via backup manager PLESK Version 17.8.11 Update #63. I then uploaded the xml.tar to the new Server running PLESK 18.0.65 Update #2 running both the Web Pro Edition.
When i try to insert the dump into the Backupmanager via SSH i get the following error in the console:
root@191:/home/empire# plesk sbin pmm-ras --import-file-as-dump --dump-file-specification /home/backup/backup_info_2412120632.xml.tar
The XML file - was not parsed successfully with the following errors:
Entity: line 1:parsererror :Extra content at the end of the document<archive dump-header-offset="34931396608" dump-xml-offset="34715653120"/><Signat ^
exit status 1

Can someone help me with that? What can i do to import the file to the backupmanager? Can i manually unpack it in the dumps folder? Will the backupmanager work with those extracted files?
Thank you very much for your help
Greetings

The migration did not work. It always threw a lot of errors. Databases could not be deployed and files were not transferred. That’s the reason why i tried to go the way with the backup. I still have access to the old server. I can try it again via migration.

What were the errors for the migration? There's usually documentations on the support site for a good number of the errors for the migration.

I just tried to start the migration again. I get the following error when it runs the prechecks. There is basically the same error as when i tried to import the backup manually.

Failed to dump the following data: Subscription (yourdomain.com): Web server settings. Not all data may be migrated.
