Increase minimum password length?

From the admin guide:

Minimal password length is 4 characters by default.

This value can be changed in the PLESK_MIN_PASSWORD_LENGTH parameter of the [HKLM\SOFTWARE\PLESK\PSA Config\Config] key.

But, you will need to add the key, simple, add it as a string and fill the data in with the length desired.

Works a treat.

Although I also use:

Password must meet complexity requirements option is switched on in your server's Local Security Policy settings (the option is located in Start > Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy > Account Polices > Password policy

But Plesk fails to note this and doesn't inform user of complexities other than password length.

It would be useful for Plesk to note the local security setting and display a full and appropriate message to user.

We have many problems with users failing to use passwords of the correct complexity!

yes we are having the same problem. we are having brute force attacks on user's e-mail accounts and then being used to send spam. =(
