• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Are you attempting Fresh Clean Installs? With nothing but Windows 2003 installed on the server? That makes a large difference.

The Operating system is windows 2000 not windows 2003 and the installation is fresh clean.Only windows 2000 with service pack 3 is install with all IIS componets selected.

I've never attempted an installation without SP4 on 2000, but if you are planning to use it in a live enviroment with more than 20 domains I recommend 2003. IIS 5 has memory issues and bog down a system. A lot of these are corrected in II 6.

In regards to your problem, can you attempt an installation on of the systems with Service Pack 4 installed? It could be something changed in the service pack that is affecting it.
