  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Issues with making backups

Since the latest version of Plesk 18.0.58 #2, I have severe issues completing backups on different ARM servers with Ubuntu 22.04 and x64 Debian 11.8.
In general, the errors are of this kind, among others:

Warning: Mail "xxxxx.com"

Do you have enough disk space on the target destination and on the DUMP_D_TMP (defined in psa.conf) location?

Is it a dedicated server or could it be possible that limits of the virtualization interfere with the tar operation?

I am not sure about the number of tar files. Normally there should not be that many. Is this a regular FTP backup, a local backup or is "Create a multivolume backup" checked so that backups are split into many small parts?

Backups are stored weekly on a remote server via SFTP. As they are very large (between 120 and 300GB), it is configured to perform them in multivolume of 1024MB.

I found this problem:

# dpkg -l | grep plesk-backup-utilities
ii plesk-backup-utilities 18.0-v.ubuntu.22.04+p18.0.59.0+t240111.1633 arm64 Plesk backup/restore backend utilities

How is it possible that the backup utilities is a higher version (18.0.59) than the current version (18.0.58 #2)?

I removed the package:
dpkg -P --force-depends plesk-backup-utilities

And I reinstalled it using the Plesk Installer directly, which detects that the package is missing:
The following NEW packages will be installed:
plesk-backup-utilities
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 7 not upgraded.
Need to get 3196 kB of archives.
After this operation, 14.7 MB of additional disk space will be used.
Get:1 Index of /pool/PSA_18.0.58_13749 jammy/all arm64 plesk-backup-utilities arm64 18.0-v.ubuntu.22.04+p18.0.58.2+t240122.1811 [3196 kB]

Now it says:
# dpkg -l | grep plesk-backup-utilities
ii plesk-backup-utilities 18.0-v.ubuntu.22.04+p18.0.58.2+t240122.1811 arm64 Plesk backup/restore backend utilities
