Log Rotation Doesn't Work

I know there are a hundred posts already in the forum about this, but I'm going going to raise it again because none of the threads have provided a solution that works on Windows.

Regardless of what settings are entered in the log rotation screen, nothing happens. The log files just keep building up.

I've noticed that stats haven't worked properly since upgrading to 7.6.1, perhaps the 2 problems are related.

Are SW-Soft planning on fixing this?

Has anyone been able to get log rotation to work on Plesk 7.6 for Windows?

It's impossible to understand anything from this post.
could you please describe your issues in details?
Nevertheless we recommend you to upgrade Plesk 7 for Windows to Plesk 7.6.1 for Windows.

I'm not sure how to state the problem any simpler, but here goes ...

When I go to the Plesk "Log Manager" there are an ever-growing number of log files that cannot be deleted because the checkbox beside each file is greyed out.

We have tried countless settings in "Log Rotation Preferences" but none of the settings have any effect whatsoever on the log files.

How can we ensure that logs files are deleted automatically after the statistics are processed so that they don't just build up on the server.

We are already running Plesk 7.6.1 for Windows.

Probably not.

If I run the statistics task more frequently, will they get zipped and then deleted sooner?

Can't find a single mention of statistics.exe in any of the event logs (SecEvent.evt, AppEvent.evt or SysEvent.evt)

From what I've been able to piece togther, AWStats creates an intermediate file for each month of the year which contains the all of the data for that month. It is this file that AWStats then uses to display it's reports. Once this intermediate file has been created, the raw log files for that month are no longer required. So for the time being I can manually delete the ancient log files from the accounts where they are consuming inordinate amounts of space. This though is not a long term solution. I need to work out why the files are not being deleted automatically and why the Plesk "Log Rotation" feature doesn't actually do anything.

this is a bug which will be fixed in the next version and update.
please address swsoft support team if you need fix immediately.
