• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Log Rotation not following set condition

Hi,

I work for a local web hosting provider and I'm trying to help one of our customers who keeps having their domain go over quota due to the size of the log files.

Currently, I'm in the Plesk Control panel, under Log Manager, under Log Rotation, where I can set the preferences. I have set the Log rotation condition to by size 100 KB and the Maximum number of log files to 1. I have Compress log files checked. However, I have the log processed files being sent to my email to monitor them and it appears that the log files are still only rotating daily, because I only get a log file once a day, and it is always much larger than 100 KB.

Any ideas on where to start looking to resolve this?
