  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Login Page: Database Error

Hello All:

I just upgrade my SB from 1.1 to 2.0. At the login page when I enter my Admin Username and Password I get "Database Error" (http://sitebuilder.xxxxxxxxxxx.onlinehome-server.com/Database error.php) directly above the login field. I'm not very familiar with Linux but i'm trying my best. I did follow the SB upgrade instructions verbatum.

Suggestions Ideas? Please keep in mind that I have very little knowledge of what I'm doing :D

Thanks All,

Omansur

Hi,

I did the upgrade several times, following the upgrade procedure, but also with a blank or "database error" page.

Last the SWSoft support did the upgrade, but still it doesn't work as it should. I would suggest you to wait after an upgrade (2.1), just like me.

Regards,
Bart
