• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Mail Problems

Hi folks,
I have installed Plesk on a windows 2003 server and all seemed well. However I am having problems with the mail and am unable to use it.
I can go into Plesk admin and create domains, however when I do I get an error message telling me that Plesk can not send me an email.
I can create mail accounts for a domain and I can see these in the Mail Enable administrator.
However I can not send mail to any of these accounts as it is simply bounced back as a failure and I get an error code of 551 Bad Recipient in the returned mail.

I have run the mchk.exe utility and this has made no difference at all.

Can anyone help with this?

thanks
B

First check MailEnable Administrator -> Servers -> localhost -> System -> Diagnose
