• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi!

I am interested in when MariaDB 12 (on Almalinux 9 or 10) will be supported. Is there an estimated time frame?

Plesk only supports LTS (Long-Term Support) releases of MariaDB. The latest TLS release is version 11.8, which is supported by Plesk. The MaraiDB 12.x branch currently still only contains rolling release with a short support cycle from MariaDB.

If you need MariaDB 12 for use with Plesk you options are either to use a docker container (and connect it as a remote database server to Plesk) or install MariaDB 12 on a remote server altogether (and connect it as a remote database server to Plesk).

You probably won't see 12.3 support any time soon, it takes time for the team to review and test before it becomes available. If you really want to use version 12.3, you can deploy it in a docker container and add it as another database server that way, but otherwise I'd bet you'd probably won't see any traction for version 12 for at least another 4 months or so if you're lucky.
