• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello, currently moving number of domain from old plesk server to nice new one.

Domain did have setting at registrar of name server

ns.domain.com
ns2.domain.com

On new server i wish every domain to use the default domains nameserver address, so at registrar it would

ns1.defaultdomain.net
ns2.defaultdomain.net

I have migrated over one domain and turned it off on old server and set registrar nameserver details to defaultdomain nameserver.

Thing is dns report shows

ns2.domain.com. [] (NO GLUE) [TTL=172800]
ns.domain.com. ['91.192.195.111'] (NO GLUE) [TTL=172800]

the IP is on new server

any ideas?

cheers

Ok an update to this, if i create new domain on new server all is fine and it uses ns1/ns2.defaultdomain.net

So the simple question is, is it possible with migration tool to ensure the old dns settings are migrated to new dns settings?

cheers
