Hi
Using the migration tool from our old Plesk server to a new one;
Email accounts were apparently transfered, but (apparently on redeploying ?), the migration tool said

******************************************
Execution of /usr/local/psa/bin/spamassassin --update [email protected] -status true -hits 0 -action mark -modify-subj false failed with return code 1.
Stderr is
Unable update spam assassin setting for mail name "[email protected]": option "hits" not correct

Execution of /usr/local/psa/bin/domain_pref --update ourdomainehere.fr -at-access true failed with return code 1.
Stderr is
filemng: Unable to recieve real path for '/var/www/vhosts/ourdomainehere.fr/httpdocs/at_domains_index.html'

System error 2: No such file or directory
An error occured during updating domain preferences: Unable to set at domains index file: Unable to resolve path to file /var/www/vhosts/ourdomainehere.fr/httpdocs/at_domains_index.html
********************************************

One of those mail errorr appeared for each email account. While emails accounts were transfered fine and work ok on the new server, we only get the default Plesk 8 homepage for the transfered sites whereas they have a full web content.

Did anybody else encounter issues with migration on Plesk 8 ? The new server has been fully patched and updated.
Please advise, best regards.
Denis.

No it isn't, this is a real dir where Plesk now apparently stores all virtual hosts, a change from previous versions where hosts were in /home/httpd/vhosts.

However more importantly this was done on a brand new server installed a few hours before with Plesk 8.0.1, and on which absolutely nothing was changed, except that we installed all recommended patches/upgrades from the Pleksk control panel, server section. After that I only used the migration tool.

Thanks.

dsaunier,

I'm having similar issues, but only with specific accounts.

My original server started at Plesk 7.5.3, then I upgraded to 7.5.4, and then finally to 8.0 and 8.0.1.

The accounts I am having problems with are old accounts, which I assume have carried over a development bug. Our issues are probably related.

Check out my thread: http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=158305

Hopefully we can find a solution to this problem.

Regards,

Limedrink.

I figured out it has to do with web_users. Go to web_users and click 'preferences'.

(de)Select the option Enable webuser@<domain> access format and click OK. You will see a similar error-message.

I'm still not sure how to fix this.

Not sure either, however in the updates tonight I noticed my Plesk got a migration tool upgrade/update, so we may hope it'll fix that...
