• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

I am trying to migrate Plesk data from a server running Pesk 7.5.4 to my new host with Plesk 8, but migration manager fails with:
"Cannot send scout to the remote host"

Unable to connect to host theotherhost.com: Connection refused

I guess it may be the ssh port used at theotherhost.com being non-standard, but... where can I tell my Plesk 8.0 to use that custom port number ?

Have you tried setting the source host as IP/domain:port-to-use?

I get the following error message:

Cannot send scout to the remote host

Failed to execute scout.
The return code is 1
The output on STDERR is

What can I do?

I'm not the owner of the source server, I'm only a customer of that hosting company.
