Migration manager stopped after upgrade

Linulex

Silver Pleskian
We upgraded all our servers this weekend from 8.2.1 to 8.6.0 and now on all servers the migration manager gives this error

Unable get daemon current status: Unable to get current daemon status: Unable to connect to UNIX socket /usr/local/psa/tmp/supervisor.910: No such file or directory

This is only on the rhel3 servers, on the centos4 servers it works fine.

I was wondering if it could have anything to do with the xml or python version. all the lib-xxx files from the contrib map are installed.

thanks in advance
Jan

The "file" is a socket that should be created by the deamon. creating it manualy isnt an option.

Hi,

Maybe it's cannot create this file because of incorrect permissions on /usr/local/psa/tmp/ - you can try compairing permissions with another server where it does work.

If it does not help then you can try downloading rpm packages for psa-migration-manager and psa-backup-manager and reinstalling them with rpm -Uvh -force

The problem is solved by Plesk support. It seems that the migration manager shiped in plesk 8.6.0.4 is incompatible with python 2.2 wich is the version on redhat es3.

regards
Jan
