MySQL access denied after migration

Hello,

I have an issue with mysql access errors after migration. The Migration itself went ok. I'm migration from Plesk 8.1.1 (Linux) to Plesk 8.2 (Windows).

At the source server we are running MySQL 4 while on the new server, there is MySQL 5. After migration the website preview blows up the "Can not connect to database" and phpMyAdmin at the domain's database acces says "#1045 - Access denied for user '<user>'@'localhost' (using password: YES).

Is this some access compatibility issue between mysql4 and 5 or just some adjustment that has to be done?

Please help, it's urgent.
