• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Need longer timeout in postfix-queue

Currently my requirements for mail transport frequently exceed the 300 second timeout in postfix-queue. How can I increase this value? Are custom-compiled postfix supported, or does anyone know a way to work around this?

Currently I have a spam filtering appliance located in another datacenter... Eventually I will have one in the same DC as the plesk server, once the system reaches a break-even situation, however, for the next 6-12 months I require a way to deal with this issue.

Any help is appreciated!

I have discussed with developers and they have informed me that there is corresponding submitted bug and bugfix will be included to Plesk 9.3 version. Timeout will be removed from postfix-queue because postfix itself watches and shoots the stuck processes.

Sorry, but I have not any ETA when 9.3 will be released.
