  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi Team,

I have an issue on the NextCloud Installations.
Suddenly all of my NextCloud Installations are giving 503 errors, when trying to edit any files in docx.

To check the case, I installed a fresh NextCloud and when I went to the configure NextCloud Office, I see the message of Could not establish connection to the Collabora Online server, and this also corresponds to the 503 errors.

I have modified the FCGI timeout limits, restarted the services (and even the machine) and changed the PHP versions, the PHP limits, but the issue still persists.

Can anyone assist?

NextCloud Version: 30.0.2.2
AlmaLinux 8.10
PHP 8.3
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.65 update 1

Hi Team,

I have managed to resolve it.

For those who might face this issue, this is how I solved it:

Found out that Plesk does not create the service coolwsd for the Collabora CODE-Server (in-built) it only generates a on the fly image to start the app.
The existing installations app was somehow crashed.

Killing its PID and then refreshing the Collabora CODE-Server settings page on the Administrator page allowed for a fresh PID to generate and now its working.
