I have a VPS with PHP 4.3.9, Virtuozzo, Plesk 8.4.0, and Centos release 4.5.

How can I upgrade to PHP 5.2.6?

1) wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic.sh | sh
2) yum upgrade
3) yum update

I have no idea, I don't use SuSE. If there is anyone who packages the latest PHP for SuSE 10.0 you might be able to use those packages. Otherwise you'd have to do it yourself.
