Hi there,

having PLESK 12.5.30 Update #27, zuletzt aktualisiert: 30. März 2016 00:20:33 on ‪Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS‬ and a serious problem.

Set Server to "Factory Defaults" (Strato) and wanted to restore my Backups (7 Wordpress Websites) !!!
Unfortunatelly to no avail ...
So I cant get the server running ...
Any help is urgently and much appreciated

No, only at the end a statement that there had been some warnings (orange background) ... I really dont know why is this ... tested disaster recovery 2 week before when I started this server and it worked fine ... even when I try to restore this "test" backup from 2 weeks ago, the result is: nothing is working!

please be informed, that Plesk stores dumps at "/var/lib/psa/dumps/" as the standard configuration. I'm pretty sure, that there might be some more dumps/backups, so that you may start over again to restore your databases. Please use


to inform yourself about the procedure.

In addition, a repair or bootstrapper repair procedure is recommended afterwards. :)

I ran into the same problem on a strato vserver with ubuntu 14.04. Did the restore of the plesk database helped / solved the problem or what has helped?

Hm, despite not being able to restore from backups also I can't migrate from other plesk supported servers since Thursday. Before 3 weeks it was no problem. I thought it was the domain limitation which was 30 included to the key. But still, after upgrading the key also no restore nor a migration.

Puh, these are bad news but thanks for your answer :( I have created a ticket @stratosupport on this issue. Maybe they could help on this. Setting up the server from scratch would be the worst option

You should check your mount - points, as you can see by your errors. Consider as well to post the output of "cat /proc/user_beancounters" "df" "df -i" and "repquota -avug" and consider as well to post your file "/etc/fstab" for investigations.

PS: it should be said that it is possible to create new abonnements, new databases, accounts, hostings, map new domains to existing acounts, change serive paket parameters etc manually...

Hi UFHH01, how to get the quotaugidlimit parameter? Aren't these settings the provider has to adjust? Could it be that on the provider side is a problem with wrong / limiting settings?

even that the "Strato" - Support is not known as a fast and good support, pls. consider to ask them for further support, because it is THEIR buisiness. ;)
 
Hope and so.... I have created a ticket with all the information and links available. Let's see how they react. I will keep you updated. I read some other posts as well where they all point to the provider to fix a 2nd level quota...
 
So, for all interested ones: after a month of comunication with the strato support they moved the vserver into another hardware node which solved this issue. Could not tell how much i am lucky about this!!!^^ A first migration of a small webpackage from another server went through successfully.
