• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk 8.0 for Linux

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

It has been a long time since the latest version of Plesk was rolled out. I have still not upgraded to the latest version for my servers as I feared the performance inconsistencies which normally happen after upgrading to new versions. I hope that Plesk may have fixed all the issues since then. I want to know if the time is ripe to upgrade to the Plesk 8.0 for my server.

Do reply me.

I held off for quite some time for the same reason, but I upgraded a couple weeks ago and everything seems to be running fine apart from Watchdog, which I don't give a **** about anyway. I also had to run a few module upgrades a few times, but that was more time-consuming than anything else.

SWsoft's responsiveness to my problems with this were predicatable btw: we don't support you, despite the monthly fee you pay us. They don't seem to get that it's their product and their responsibility. I wish someone would buy Plesk and sack the idiots responsible for these policies.
