  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved plesk applications are basically non-existant.

Hi, I was googling out to install OrangeHRM on plesk and came across a youtube video that showed someone look it up in the plesk app's admin page and install it.
When he opened the application page (app/available/id/apscatalog/domainId/1) There were around 300 app options to install, with OrangeHRM being one of them.

In my panel I have a total of 21. Is this an option my server suppliers have somehow denie?

A few years ago, the former app catalogue that used to be maintained by Ingram has ceased to exist. Plesk switched to their own new catalogue, however, this includes only very few items. So what you are seeing is the correct catalogue.

If you need more, check out the Softaculous extension. Softaculous is a widely used software catalogue that has many more programs. It is not suited for some business cases unless you also purchase their pro edition, but it may be suited for your own server if you are in charge for all your websites.
