• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Plesk Backup CLI output to both Local storage + FTP

deltatech

Regular Pleskian
It is obvious how to backup to both local storage and FTP via the web browser but, how do you do it from the command line?

I can do it the hard way by specifying an output file in psa/dumps/backup-201234567.tar, Then use FTP to send it to the FTP server, then Untar it for local storage but that is a lot of work. Is it possible to have it output to both FTP and local storage?

That worked!! Thanks. But apparently I am looking at out dated documentation because -keep-local-backup wasn't shown anywhere. Can you give me a link to something current that has that?

Also, since I am doing everything via CLI, I need a way to manage the backups and delete old ones and I assume that pmm-ras is the tool to use here. Do you have a link to any documentation on that?
