• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
    With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Issue Plesk E-Mail Security Extension

Kulturmensch

Regular Pleskian
I have installed the Plesk E-Mail Security Extension and take advantage of amavis. I have also installed separately the ClamAV what works fine via cron-commad i.e. but is shown as "stopped" in the new Plesk E-Mail Security Dashboard.

I integrated ClamAV by adding:

@bypass_virus_checks_maps = (
\%bypass_virus_checks, \@bypass_virus_checks_acl, \$bypass_virus_checks_re);

to
etc/amavis/conf.d/15-content_filter_mode

1. Do I have to add something to an additional Plesk conf-file to get ClamAV shown as running in the Dashboard (see Attachement)?

I had the same question too ... ClamAV installed and running, but still plesk refuses to see it as installed. Now, know better from googling:
Hope others find these useful

there seems to be some confusion. don't install clamav separately. remove it if done. it is installed as part of the installation of PES.

Are you sure? In my case it was not installed as I used the unpaid version of PES but now after having installed it separately it works fine except for showing up in the E-Mail configuration dashboard?
