• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk File Manager broken

Hello,

I am experiencing a problem with Plesk File Manager whereby none of my clients can modify any of the permissions on any folder or page of their sites. When they click the padlock icon in the file manager, the following error occurs:

FileManager::get_file_info_wrapper() failed: filemng util failed: Unhandled exception
---------------------- Debug Info -------------------------------
0: C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\plib\common_func.php3:152
psaerror(string 'FileManager::get_file_info_wrapper() failed: filemng util failed: Unhandled exception')
1: C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\htdocs\domains\webdirs\webdir_permissions.php:51

I have restarted Plesk, as per the article at http://kb.swsoft.com/article_236_1846_en.html but this did not solve the problem.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Best Regards,
Daniel

In my case the restart of service worked, have you tried to reboot the machine?

Make sure you restarted all the Plesk services.

Permissions failure in plesk

This solved problem for me:
I set the "Hosting>Setup" disk quota to "unlimited" and setting the disk space under the domain "user>Limits" section to the real desired limit.

Now it works like a charm...
