Plesk ftp problem

I am using centos 5.4 with plesk 10.0.1 and when i try to connect to ftp i got the following error :


421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection

i have tryed to ping and resolve domain domain both of them has been succed and i 've checked what if a program listen 21 port :
lsof -i tcp:21
but it seems ok as described here http://help.godaddy.com/topic/93/article/1587
what should be the problem

I also try to connect locally but the result is same as given above

Make sure that you have installed psa-proftpd package from official Plesk repository but not from atomicturtle repository or something else.
Package http://64.131.90.31/PSA_10.0.1/dist...proftpd-1.3.3-cos5.build109101019.20.i386.rpm should be installed there for correct FTP service operation.

is this packge installed automatically during upgrade ( 9.3 => 10.0.0 => 10.0.1 ) ?
how can I check it ?

Check it with usual rpm utility with something like

# rpm -qi psa-proftpd
