• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Plesk - Mailenable broken

I have Plesk 8.1.1 and Mainenable Professional 2.37.

Suddenly Plesk doesn't change the settings in Mailenable when changing things via plesk like mailbox limits, creating accounts.

Plesk doesn't generate any errors when changing things via the CP.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do to solve this?

please try to use "mchk.exe --all --fix=all" utility. It reconfigures mail server configuration according to Plesk database. The actions it performs are below:

a) Stops mail services.
b) Removes all records in mail server configuration.
c) Rewrites mail server configuration according to Plesk database.
d) Starts mail services.

mchk.exe reconfigures only configuration, data remains not affected. Before running this utility one needs to make sure to find out the type of mail server used and backup it’s configuration, so to be able to revert back to old configuration in case of an unforeseen event.

Note: if any records existing in mail server are not stored in Plesk DB they will not be restored. Therefore client loses his non-Plesk accounts.
