• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Input Plesk Security Updates

nmdpa3

Regular Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 24.04
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.74
The last two Plesk updates (18.0.74 #1 and #2) are labeled as security updates in the changelog. Can you please start indicating how urgent these are (i.e., the significance of applying them immediately vs. waiting)? Simply saying “security update” without any detail doesn’t give us enough guidance on how quickly we should act.

Hello, @nmdpa3 . Thank you for the input. I have forwarded your feedback to the team that manages our technical documentation. I will follow-up with more details as soon as possible.
