PleskFatalException, Unknown key property: concerto

For a couple of days we receive the following error message if we try to update a server's Plesk license.

ERROR: PleskFatalException
Unknown key property: concerto
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

0: common_func.php3:93
psaerror(string 'Unknown key property: concerto')
1: common_func.php3:4831
getKeyProp(string 'concerto')
2: key_update.php:16

Affected are only servers running on CentOS5 (64 Bit) with Plesk 10.3.1 (Ubuntu for example is not affected)
CentOS and Plesk are up to date, all MUs are installed and the servers are hosted by different providers (1&1, Strato), so that this should not be a licensing issue of a single provider.

Re-installing the base components of Plesk and restarting the servers didn't solve the problem. Plesk logs show no hints or errors. Unfortunately an update to Plesk 10.4.x or 11.x is currently not possible due to some requirements of our customers.

What else can we do? If this is some kind of bug within the Parallels licensing servers - when will it be fixed?

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I'm having the exact same error message under Plesk 10.3.1, installed on a Debian Squeeze server hosted by Hetzner. Updating to Plesk 10.4 or 11 isn't possible at the moment. Our active key is only valid until 10.08.2012.

The linked articles didn't help me.

No solution here as well.

http://kb.parallels.com/en/111892 -> leads to error 500
http://kb.parallels.com/en/114047 -> is fulfilled, we use 10.3.1
http://kb.parallels.com/en/111887 -> no solution, we do not use a virtual server but a dedicated one so there is no vzlinkmgr service we could start.

Meanwhile we've received a brand new plesk key from 1&1 after complaining about that issue but the error message still remains and keys cannot be updated. Latest information from 1&1 and strato is "it's a Parallels issue".

In /usr/local/psa/admin/logs/httpsd_access_log we get the following two lines whenever we try to update the key via control panel (ip-addresses and domain names were removed)

::ffff:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx domainname.com:8443 - [02/Aug/2012:08:52:17 +0200] "GET /server/key_update.php?key_type=plesk HTTP/1.1" 500 4842 "https://domainname.com:8443/plesk/license/" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; OfficeLiveConnector.1.5; OfficeLivePatch.1.3)"

::ffff:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx domainname.com:8443 - [02/Aug/2012:08:52:17 +0200] "GET /javascript/chk.js.php?plesk_version=psa-10.3.1-1013110726.09 HTTP/1.1" 200 8439 "https://domainname.com:8443/server/key_update.php?key_type=plesk" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; OfficeLiveConnector.1.5; OfficeLivePatch.1.3)"

In the first line there seems to be an error 500 when calling key_update.php ?
GET /server/key_update.php?key_type=plesk HTTP/1.1" 500 <--?

What sort of output of following command:

# /usr/local/psa/bin/keyinfo --list | grep -i concerto

Contact your sales representative regarding your license features if you have enabled concerto in license.

noting came out.

concerto never enabled.

Thank you. I have forwarded it to developers. Let's wait their answer.

Peter Leem, could you please send me login credentials for your Plesk server in PM? Our developers will check this issue directly on your server.

The automatic update process just updated the keys of two of our servers.
Trying to update a key via the plesk frontend still produces the error message.

Please use attached fix for 10.3.1 version.
