• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Possible to do a reverse email migration using Plesk migration tool?

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Almalinux
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.77
Hi there,

I am in the process of migrating from a older Plesk server to newer Plesk server. Both have same version of Plesk but Source server has older version of AlmaLinux.

Migration is proceeding well but the most worrisome part of the migration will be email which will come at the end.

My question is:

If I migrate email to the Destination server but it doesn't work as planned for some reason and I have to move back the Source server, can I setup a migration on the Source and pull back any new email that may have arrived at the Destination but which now needs to be moved back to the original Source so that no email is lost.

I hope that makes sense.

Thanks in advance,
G
