Postfix Queue Problem

futureweb

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

got some weird Mails in my Plesk Postfix Queue!?

Screenshot: http://temp.in.futureweb.at/plesk/mailqueue.jpg

sometimes there is only 1 of those weird Mails - sometimes there are about 10 or 20 of them ... don't know what they are and what happens to them?!? (as the count of them varies)

Hope someone can enlight me on this!?

Thank you
Andreas Schnederle-Wagner

when I click on "show header" - it only opens a blank page - so no headers! :-/
And I can't find those Mails in the Queue @ Webmin - nor do I find any weird things in maillog

overlooked that Announcement ... now the command finished properly!
But the weird Messages in queue still there

I have exactly the same problem and I don't know what should I do....

The "Blank" email are in the queue and I cannot delete the from the panel.

Also some of them have big size....

I notice that this problem cause cpu usage and sometimes mail doesn't work...

Please is there any solution?

Same Problem

Hello,

I got the exact same problem.
When this occurs, the Postfix service is stopped and can not be restarted from the panel.
Also Watchdog is disabled.

The only thing to correct the problem is to hard-reboot the server. The soft-reboot also didn't work.

The mchk gives every line OK so no errors.

This happens every 3 a 4 days.

Any suggestions???

I don't know how to solve the problem but I can tell you my workaround I foundend to stop hard reboot my server 2-3 times every day.
Open SSH and follow this procedure :

1) /etc/init.d/postifix stop
2) postsuper -d ALL
3) /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng --stop-service
4)/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng --start-service
5) /etc/init.d/postifix start

I hope this help also for you! :)

PS: @PLesk Team: Many people has this problem and it is not individual. Maybe it's a problem or bug of the panel. You Should fix it.

any news?

I'm facing the same problem as shown in the picture

Is this a bug or is this a real spam attempt ?

The only way to stop increasing cpu levels, is to restart the server.

After restarting, mail cpu levels stays normal.

Observation

I don't know if is relevant to the problem but , before the CPU starts to increase in maillog file , begin to appear ct-milter[3524]: open(/tmp//ctminER5m8): Too many open files"

warning: milter unix:/var/spool/postfix/ctmilter/ctmilter.sock: can't read SMFIC_OPTNEG reply packet header: Connection timed out

Another victim

Happened to me this morning. First I noticed Postfix had shut down and I couldn't get it restarted. CPU and mail usage stats went redline. I did a hard reboot and that got things online. However, I do have these in the mail queue and cannot get rid of them. This is obviously not an isolated issue because of some unique server misconfiguration since a lot of people are experiencing it. Help from Parallels would be greatly appreciated.

Try

Try to comment this lines in main.cf

#smtpd_milters = inet:localhost:12768
#non_smtpd_milters = inet:localhost:12768

This works for me

What is this doing??
Can this be removed without creating an other problem???
These lines have more on them that you wrote. There is a full pah to milter
