Issue Problem setting up webs on subdomains #Plesk 12.5

We are trying to setting up a subdomain to host a website for the domain correo.innovacion-empresarial.com
however we are using the DNS server of the Plesk server but an external one.

As a result when we load the URL it is refusing the connection.
Is there a work around for this? We never had a similar issue when we worked with CPanel.

PS: We are currently running Plesk 12.5.30 Update #42 over CentOS 6.6 (Final)‬

I reported the issue to my hosting company but they say that this is a know issue and the only solution is to use the DNS service of my Plesk server which is not a viable alternative for me.

I suppose that you need to configure your external DNS server in Plesk first - https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/12.5/administrator-guide/dns/using-external-dns-servers.72230/
