• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Problem, Windows Server 2022 (physical server) users - PLESK = Webmail

Hello Windows Server 2022 (physical server) users - PLESK = Webmail...

My question is, has anyone configured webmail on their Windows Server 2022?

I'm talking about configuring it to work on all Sending and Receiving domains.

Do you know all the records that are required for all webmail.mydomain.com, etc., domains to work?

Sending isn't a problem, but receiving is.

I admit I'm not familiar with mail servers.

Please don't send me to the WEBMAIL support page, as that's a mistake.

Hi, @joseph.kozubek@gmail. By default, Plesk on Windows uses SmarterMail as a webmail client. To access webmail for a particular domain/subscription, you need an A record of webmail.yourdomain.com of the corresponding domain name pointed to the server IP address.

For the mail service to properly function, you also need to create the following records:

Sending isn't a problem, but receiving is.

If there's currently an ongoing issue, please provide some more context, i.e. what exactly seems to be the issue related to receiving emails, what troubleshooting steps were performed thus far and what information were you able to find (bounce-back messages, errots, etc.).
