• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi, I hope soemone can answer this question...

I understand that when you purchase the licence for this product it prevents you form allowing users to publish via ftp unless you purchase the unlimited servers licence - is this correct ?

or, have i got my wires crossed ?

We have one server with sitebuilder on and I want the users to publish via ftp to their own domains which are hosted on other servers.

Can someone clarify this ? I paid for the multiple server licence and I'm not sure we need it !

SiteBuilder for Linux/Unix is designed to publish sites to a SINGLE server by default (Plesk or non-Plesk). If you wish to enable your SiteBuilder for Linux/Unix software to publish websites to multiple servers add the Multi-Server Publishing option from the Additional Features section.
So If you have none Multi-Server Publishing option then you can publish only to ONE server. That's the difference.
