• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Read JSON by Swift with Password Protection

Torsten Schustek

New Pleskian
Good morning. I have a question: We have a website that is password protected (via the PLESK interface). Now we create a JSON page within this site, which should be queried by a Swift program under iOS. Has anyone already found a way to overcome the password query in a Swift query? We can access the URL, but we get the following answer:

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

Unfortunately Google did not help me. Many thanks for every answer and suggestion.
