Reducing Spam & Viruses in Smartermail

Howdy,

I recently have had a major problem on our mail servers with the flooding of spam, which annoyed quite a few customers. so after some research I found some forum posts which have a way of reducing the spam.

Here is the quick walk-through:

Filtering extentions:

1. Login to webmail using your admin account
2. Head to SETTINGS and DOMAIN CONTENT FILTERING
3. Click Add Filter
4. Expand Attachments and check Specific extensions
5. Click Next
6. For Filter Type select OR
7. Paste the list of extensions below into the Attachments box:

bat
cmd
com
cpl
exe
js
jse
msc
msi
msp
pif
reg
vbs
scr
shb
shs
vbs
wsc
wsf
wsh

8. Click Next
9. Enter a Rule Name (I use "Possible Virus")
10. Check On Move message to Junk E-mail folder (if desired)
11. Click the Save button
