• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Requesting Support: Unable to restore the DNS zone

New Pleskian
Dear Forum,

I am getting an error when creating a new domain. I noticed that this error isn´t new to Plesk and it should have been fixed in a MU, but in fact it does not seems to be fixed:

Code:
Error: Unable to restore the DNS zone: an error occurred while adding the ns.domain.de. IN A 81.169.101.101 record: DNS record already exists.

In such cases I always (as quick howto) delete the DNS records manually from the 'psa' database.

Hi abdi,

thanks for your answer. I already searched the database, but there isn´t a such entry. This domain was never registered in Plesk.

P.S.: I restored the DNS settings of the domain, where this domain should act a alias to, which solved the problem

Am glad you did resolve it, and am sorry for the inconveniences caused!
Since also you already resolved this issue, I will stop at this ...
