  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Restoring single user with sites from full backup

tuomas136

New Pleskian
Hi,

I create the full sitebuilder backups with command:

./sbbackup all --output=/mnt/backup/pleskbackup/sitebuilder-`date +%Y%m%d_%H%M`.xml

I'm trying to restore a single user with site (example.com) using the command:

./sbrestore user --recursive [email protected] --with-sites --with-site-content < sitebuilder-20090203_0323.xml

After that I get the message:

Processing "user"...
[email protected]
......user custom settings
......user hosts
......user site families
......user plans
......user sites
.........example.com
Done

.. but still the site example.com is not in the Sitebuilder.

Sitebuilder is running on Debian 4.0

Any help would be appriciated...

Thanks.

Hard to say what could be the reason for this and it is actually requires investigation. For now, if you are using 4.2 version I can suggest you to make an updated to latest 4.5.5 version and check this one more time. There were some backup/restore improvements done in latest version, so it could help.
