Just wasted money and this is a garbage program?
Anybody ever get it fixed?

PLESK SEO
Hangs for hours doing nothing just says "Crawling"
Tried all this https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12377460333463-How-to-cancel-a-stuck-task-in-Plesk
Doesn't work
Long time Linux guy.
Backed up database no problem
First time I ran it showed ID 6
Ok ran through the rest. Problem not solved.
Rebooted server (has all updates)
plesk db "SELECT id,type, status, finishTime FROM longtasks WHERE status <> 'done'"

NOTHING.
Tried this
plesk db -Ne "SELECT id FROM longtasks WHERE status <> 'done'" | while read i; do plesk db "DELETE FROM longtaskparams WHERE task_id=$i" ; done
Nothing -- refresh still says Crawling
Tried this:
pkill task-async-executor
NOTHING
Finally tried this
systemctl stop sw-engine && rm -rf /var/lock/lmlib/container_locks/* && rm -f /usr/local/psa/var/cache/* && systemctl start sw-engine

And still nothing.

Let me guess."written by Windows Jockeys?"

Anyone know how to fix it for real. I mean posts on this back to 2020
Its 2026

@DaveTech , the issue might be caused due to a database inconsistency. Could you please try the solution from the following article:

SEO Toolkit in Plesk Hangs running scan - SOLVED

Ok, so after much messing around. Working with AI. The answer was too simple.

I use CloudFlare for DNS. Had to add entries in /etc/hosts for each domain

MyExternalIP domainname1.com www.domainname1.com

SEO Toolkit install was corrupt - reinstalled with Plesk Extensions

Seems to be working now.
