  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Services management

scool

Basic Pleskian
greetings.

i am using plesk 9.0.1 for linux.
centos 5.2

from the option "Services management" , i am stopping tomcat and postgress service.
but plesk restarts these services after 1-2 minutes.

i need these 2 services to be stopped.
how to i stop them permanently?

thanks in advance.

Since you want them stopped permanently why not just remove the packages off the server with yum remove?

I always remove the stuff I don't use, it's also easy to add in the future through updates in the CP.
