TwitterI need to use .htaccess files on a specific domain on my VPS with Linux Plesk 11, but not on all (since I'm told there's a performance hit if allowing on all). Reading in forums and the like, shows a fairly complicated means to change httpd.conf templates etc, but I'm wondering if there's a simpler way?

Any help is greatly appreciated as I imagine many Plesk Users must come across this problem.
Bonus question/help: How to fix the error generated after using the tips at http://www.gadberry.com/aaron/2006/02/09/plesk_vhost/. Ran: /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/websrvmng -u --vhost-name=domain.com command and now I get (see error screenshot):
