• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Single SMTP / POP domain used by all Plesk Domains

Chinese dave

Basic Pleskian
Hello

Currently I have incoming / outgoing mail POP / SMTP for each Domain in Plesk system

e.g. mail.domain.com

Can used a single mail domain to be user across all my Plesk customers?

e.g. mail.pleskmydomain.com

Regards, Pete

Yes, of-course you can! As long as mail.pleskmydomain.com resolves to the same server that hosts ALL those domains in question!

Thanks Abdi

I can see how this would work if the Customers Domains and email domain where sharing the same IP address

Would it work if the email domain was on a different IP address to Customer Domains but within the same Plesk system?

Pete
