• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

sitebuilder and plesk publish issues?

wickedwebsites

Basic Pleskian
is there anyway that plesk can setup the ftp access for clients, so they dont need to add the ftp access info manually?

I want a client who is already in plesk, to log straight in and design the site, then just click publish...

however I cannot seem to find a way to get sitebuilder to auto know this info?

Thanks
Drew

Client can add publication info for the site through site owner panel. He will need to click on his site and go into Publishing Settings tab. There he could full fill all necessary information and after that he will not need to enter this info each time in Wizard for site publishing.

The best way is to edit the plan itself to disallow changes to the publishing settings (thereby setting them to a default area.

This way, with SiteBuilder linked into Plesk they will be able to just publish to their website automatically and nowhere else.

Regards
