Sitebuilder & Remote Admin Module

A

this seems to have been installed when upgrading to 7.5.4
Code:
  Trying to install SiteBuilder... ===> Unpacking sitebuilder files
===> Configure sitebuilder
===> Configure Apache server
===> Configure php.ini
===> Restarting Apache
===> Add crontab tasks
         SiteBuilder was installed successfully. Do not forget to
         make changes to the DNS records of your server so that
         the domain name [url]http://sitebuilder.server.com[/url]
         points to this server.
         SiteBuilder has three entry points:
         [url]http://sitebuilder.server.com/admin/cc.php[/url]
         Administrator's entry point
         [url]http://sitebuilder.server.com/wizard/index.php[/url]
         Guest entry point. Place this link on your site and use
         it for advertizing purposes.
         To configure registered users login options,
         please refer to the documentation
        *                                                           *
        * Default administrator's login is 'root'                   *
        * Default administrator's password is 'sitebuilder'         *
        *                                                           *
done

1) now i created the DNS entry so that sitebuilder.server.com pointed to the same ip as server.com just like webmail.server.com does for horde. only this doesn't seem to work :confused:

2) something seems to be creating a dns entry itself eg.
A sitebuilder.server.com 127.0.0.1

3) all the files at /usr/local/sitebuilder/ exist

4) when i go to Modules > Remote Admin for SiteBuilder it reports
Status: Local SiteBuilder is not configured for working with SBM or Username/password is incorrect.

5) there are two crontab entries from sitebuilder under [email protected] however they're not in /var/cron/tabs/root - any idea where they are? i'm not too bothered if SB doesn't work, i assume it wont anyway as i don't remember purchasing it.

i would like to close it down if i cant use it.

thanks for reading :)

Sitebuilder didn't work for me at first using the sitebuilder.domain.com .... Instead, I had to create an A record at the domain registrar level and all was fine....

After time this problem magically went away, so try using you hostname with the sitebuilder prefix to see if you can at least access it.

What version did you install? It looks to me like 1.1.1, not 2.1.0 right??!!
